Next week, on Thursday June 3rd, I will travel for the first time in my life to New York! I will participate on the Summer Intensive Course ”Public Relations Strategy and Execution” at New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Here more information:
Nearly every industry today requires a coordinated and effective public-relations effort. According to Fortune magazine, PR stands to be one of the 10 fastest-growing professions over the next 10 years. This program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the business of PR from outstanding professionals in New York City’s corporate, media, agency, and consulting worlds. Content conveyed via interactive lectures, assignments, demonstrations, and feedback sessions covers the general practice of public relations; participants will be exposed to communications tools and techniques necessary for success in any PR discipline. Expect to devote most of each day to small team and full-group discussions. This intensive also gives you a practical blueprint for developing a successful PR campaign based on a case study offered by a real-world client.
- Developing a PR campaign and an executable PR strategy
- Media relations, messaging, and training
- Crisis communication
- PR and new online/digital media
- Basic PR writing and the elements of a press kit
